Meet Roni
An independent technical writer/editor and graphic designer with 19 years of experience creating technical proposals, reports, documentation of technical processes, and other technical documents.
Beginning Background
Roni has always loved the written word. She has a natural affinity for research and creative and mechanical ability. Roni also loves learning. She combines these skills in her technical writing to transform complex concepts into simple ideas.
Her keen perception and ability to understand the needs of others were stimulated early in life by her family’s frequent moves to diverse locations, the result of her father’s military service.
Understanding individual needs and sincerity build strong relationships of trust—these were the qualities Roni established in her early years. They are the primary qualities Roni continues to bring to her work in creating effective, user-friendly content.
Freelance Writing in Scientific Fields
Roni was asked to develop and write a program to improve food security for rural villages in Nigeria. The program emphasized regenerative agriculture to enhance food quality, purify ecosystems, and strengthen local economies.
From this project, additional writing opportunities followed, including large-scale infrastructure development projects for countries in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Roni took on more writing projects in scientific fields, including laser scanning, digital 3-D PhotoReal modeling, and oil and gas industry projects.
In serving the fields of science and technology, Roni’s copywriting experience includes business proposals, case studies, white papers, web content, website design and development, PowerPoint presentations, company profiles, and other communication material to support marketing campaigns.
In addition to a bachelor's degree from UTA, Roni holds a certificate in Technical Writing from Bellevue College. Roni joined American Writers & Artists Inc. (AWAI) to polish her writing skills. She keeps her skills and strategies fresh and up-to-date through her active participation in the Professional Writer’s Alliance (PWA) and AWAI’s Circle of Success.
